Dear Sister!

Dear Sister,
I have hacked into your account and you have no idea!! :) ha well first of all i hope i didnt mess anything up because i really have no idea what I'm doing on this thing!
Well sis, i cant believe I'm not going to be living with you anymore it is so crazy to think about! I dont have any idea what i would have done with out you here in this crazy town of Logan! It has been such an adventure with you up here! I really am so grateful that we were both able to come up here and make our sisterly bond even stronger! Also I really am grateful for all the wonderful delicious meals you prepared, for making me laugh, for doing my laundry, for putting up with my crazy self, for dealing with me when Lance was coming home and letting me try on 30 different shirts, for dealing with the Lacey ;), for being the greatest example a little sister could ask for!
But i think your about to get out of the shower now and im sure your just about to come tuck me in or come steal the computer back, so i better not let you see this quite yet!

Engaged.

Last week. 

I recieved a picture message from Lance that said

 Say hello to your sisters ring!

I squealed with excitement then even more so

when he told me that it was going to happen on Saturday when we got to Rexburg. 

Saturday after school we came home to pick up Joelle and Trevors car that they so kindly let Kandice 

drive back to Logan one night. So with all our bags packed we try and start the car and it  

wouldnt start. 

Kandice, Emilie, & myself tried everything we could think of: calling the car sweet names, getting mad at the car, be nice with the car, be not so nice with the car. You get the point.

Kandice was on the phone with Lance who Im sure was freaking out because we hadn't left yet. 

Thirty minutes later we headed to Rexburg and left the car here. 

We arrived in Rexburg and went in and talked to Tammy for a few minutes since the boys 

were still not home from priesthood session,.

Tammy said that she talked to Lance about taking both of us to go do errands but Lance said that Kandice couldnt go only I could. So as soon as the boys got back Tammy and I headed to go do the 

"errand"

 We drove to Rexburg temple and stood in the cold wind and hid out so we could see it all happen and take pictures. 

In what seemed like  forever. Lance and Kandice showed up. Lance had blindfolded Kandice and told her he was taking her to the most beautiful place in the world.  He said some other cute things and then he proposed and she said YES!!!

So now I have an engaged sister and a soon to be brother! I couldnt be more happy for the both of them. They are so in love its so cute. Im excited that Lance will now be an official part of the family and in return that we can be an official part of his since our families get a long so well!

June 1st is the big day!

Divorced & 21

I have such a difficult time expressing how I really feel sometimes. I feel like its just easier to put on a smile and deal with other peoples problems then my own. I have walls built around me that I never had before and I don't like it one bit. So this was just a tender mercy that I came upon this blog tonight.

This post I felt like I could have been writing the same exact thing  

My favorite part:

Not since January but since I have gotten divorced there has/ are  many times that I have felt that exact same way. 

Mostly this was just for me to remember this blog and remember how I feel tonight. So sorry for the randomness or if it seems like Im all sad about myself or my life because most days Im not. 

Most days I'm overly grateful for the experience and for what I have learned from it but there are still days that are extremely difficult.

Blessed.

Sometimes I get an overwhelming feeling of Gratitude.

This past time it happened when I was returning back to Logan from Vernal. 

I was having a very hard week & wasn't planning on going home but I just needed to be there. 

I wasn't sure what to do. 

But my parents insisted and made it possible for me to go. 

 The atmosphere that my parents have created at my house is so peaceful. 

It was just what I needed to bring my spirits back up. 

A while back I was having the most difficult time of my life to date.

I have never dealt with anything harder in my life and hope to never have to make that big/hard of decision again. 

My parents were/are my rock. 

Its funny how struggles bring people closer together. 

I always thought my family was close. But going through something this difficult only made our family that much closer.

I can honestly say my family (Mom, Dad, Kand, & JJ) are my best friends. 

I have no idea where I would be with out them. 

I stumbled across this talk today and it was just so fitting.

My mom has always been my hero. I hope that someday I can be part of the woman she is. 

She is amazing.

Anyway. Just some random stuff. But I would feel guilty if I didn't mention how grateful I truly am for my family!

Athenas Wedding Day

Yesterday my Best Friend got married. 

I have never seen a more beautiful bride with a couple more in LOVE! They both were so happy. 

Friday: 

Rehearsal dinner at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. 

We had a good dinner. Caught up with all the friends. 

Gave Cyle a surival kit for Athena

Then all of us girls went to a hotel and Athena got more naughty gifts and we all talked about EVERYTHING.

Athena and I finally feel asleep at like 2:30 am.

Saturday:

We woke up got ready.

Athena had to be at the temple by 12. 

The rest of us had to be there at 1:10

 Her sealing was at 1:40

It was AMAZING.

 A bunch of us headed to PF changs because we were starving. 

Then the Reception was at the Zermat Resort in Midway. 

It was so pretty and so much fun. 

There was a lot of good food,

Cake, Candy table, & a wonderful Photo Booth.

We had such a fun time dancing like idiots!

 Then it was over!

The weekend was so much fun. I'm so glad I got to be included in all of it! I love that girl so much and am so grateful that we have skype. Since she lives in TEXAS!

I got to see my BESTIE BEST that happy! Honestly we have been through so much together and she deserves the best & I think she found it!

Netflix recommend Prison Break and I heard its wonderful ... Everyone is right.

I have seen a ton of billboards for the Mormon Radio Channel & last week decided to take a listen. I love it!

This is my favorite program right now.

 So I found this website .
I dont even really remember how. But I love it.
Its such a good cause with such a good story. I cried so hard. So Kand and I bought whistles.

Today I feel blessed because:

I have these amazing women (pictured above) in my life. Each of them are so amazing. We have been through so much together as a group. Even added new girls. Seriously the planning and trying to work everything was worth spending the weekend with these girls. Enjoyed every second of it. Love these girls!

I don't know what it is about a New Year but it always gets me overly EXCITED! 

Even though I know you can start fresh any day you want but something about the New Year makes me feel fresh new ready to start all over.

I got a couple resolutions in mind. I wont share them all ... sorry some are just too personal. But for the record it has been 9 whole days since I have went w/o soda. Oh and I decided I have to get better at this thing because sooner or later I want to make a book out of it!

So Mondays since I don't have school I get to be a nanny. It is so fun. I love it. Its for two little girls One is five and the other is two. Today I had a very interesting conversation of why we cant wear our Sunday dresses whenever we like. It took a while to convince her but luckily we solved the problem.

Last but not least I have to say CONGRATS to my bestie and her wonderful fiance Cyle.

I'm so excited for the both of them and more excited to see what the future will bring them! I never knew if Athena would meet someone that I thought would be good enough for her and love her as much I think she deserves. But she did it and hes great. Cant wait for all the wedding activities.. . I just love my bestie best.

Today I feel blessed because:
I have a few different friends that I can go months and months with out talking or seeing them. I know that even though we are not talking that much we are still close and I can always rely on them. Well today one of these friends called me out of the blue. It was so nice to hear from her. Its been at least 3 months since I have talked to her. We had a conversation like we talk every day. I just love it.

It's been forever.

So much has happened since I have last wrote.

I cant believe that I let this much time past.

Hopefully Ill get back in this habit.

Update on life:

*Bestie/Athena got home from her mission.

*Grandaughter day 

*Kand graduated

* Last day at preschool

*Kandice and I moved to Logan and started school in June. Its had its days but overall I love it and I love the little cliental Im starting to build.

* Went to Vegas / St. George with Mom and Sister

* Lacey moved in

*Bestie in the hospital.

*Trip to Laramie

*Bear lake skipped school.

*Many adventures with the Vernal Girls.

It feels like so many more important things have happended in life. But Im drawing a blank.
