I miss my bestie.

Well I forgot Athena had a blog, I came across it and I started reading all through her entries. I came across this one. Now I'm crying my eyes out. I know that it was a miracle and Heavenly Father knew what he was doing when we ended up moving into together, which was totally random. Instantly me and this girl were besties. I can't wait until May when I get to see her again!

Because of her:
My testimony grew a lot stronger.
I learned how to love and care more about people.
I learned that people really can CHANGE.
I became more understanding.
I enjoyed Orem and made a lot of new best friends.

Memories I will never forget:
 Long Naps
Cruise
All our late nights
Date Nights with her and me.
Date Nights with Chad, Nate, her, and me.
Roomie Pictures.
Hotel Escape
Roomie Talks
Washington Trip
Singing at the top of our lungs in the car and her messing up the words
Halloween- Army Girls
Randoms

a random picture of a girls night that always made us giggle.

On our way to the mtc... I cried like a little girl.

Bentley lost his man hood...

Tuesday Bentley had a trip to the Vet. I didn't even know it was coming, I got home asked Kandice where Bentley was and she said,"Mom took him to vet to get neutered." The only thought that ran through my mind was great hes not going to make it and he doesn't even know how much I love him..I worry way to much.

Luckily things went fine and hes been a lot more cuddly and loving.

Bentley right after he got home.. he was a little drugged if you cant tell.

Quote

" In life we do some things we wish we had never done, some we wish we could replay a million times in our heads, but they all make us who we are and in the end those experiences make every detail about us. If we are to reverse any of them we wouldn't be at the exact place we are today. So just LIVE. Make mistakes and have wonderful times, but never second guess who you, where you have been, and most importantly where it is that you are going."

Just something I needed to remember.

The Best of Times

Loved this book. But I love Anita Stansfield. Her stories draw me in and I cant put the book down. Im excited for the next books in the series.

One part that really touched me was when the main character Chas is talking about what she does with critiscim. She listens to it then thinks about it and if she agrees with it she changes  if not she discards that information and moves on. I thought that I needed to be more like this.

A quote I loved from this book that felt like she was speaking to me was:
" Find joy in this time. Open your heart. Remain steadfast and immovable. God will take care of the rest." (pg. 90)

New Years..

So Im a day late, but HAPPY NEW YEARS!

Funny fact about me I have never made New Years Resolutions. Crazy right? I decided this year would be great to do some.

1. Find a hobby. Yes I know sad? I really don't have one.
2. Rec. Center 4x a week.. No exceptions.
3. No more soda.. really  it makes me feel bloated. If I just didn't love the taste so much!
4. Read my Scriptures DAILY.
5.  Figure out by March what I will be doing come August.

Thats enough for now better not get to carried away..

Got my New Years kiss from this lovely boy..

Grandma Redden

On December 30th was two years since my Grandma Redden passed away. Sometimes it feels like she was just here and other times it feels like its been forever since I have seen her. I miss her being around, especially when Grandpa comes over or we go to see him. They were/ are so in love they would do everything together example Grandpa would go ice fishing Grandma would sit in the car and sew or paint just so they could enjoy the ride together, they still held hands everywhere they went, they still flirted with each other, they were just cute! When Grandpa talks about Grandma he gets really teary eyed because he misses her so much which makes us all get teary.

My Grandma was a one of a kind person. When we found out she was dying my Mom got her address book and wrote letters to everyone in it. Telling them my Grandmas situation and that she was going to make a book of letters/ memories of my Grandma. Each of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and many friends and co workers wrote letters or memories about my Grandma. Every letter talked about what a nice lady my Grandma was to everyone and a lot of them said how they had never heard my Grandma say a bad word about another person.  Last Christmas my Grandpa gave everyone a copy of the book. I read it again on the December 30th, I cried.

Its a good thing I know that we can be families forever and that I will get to see her again someday..

Five Things I LOVED about my Grandma:
1. Her hugs. No matter when or where you saw her she was the first one to give the biggest hugs.
2. How cute she was. My Grandma was always put together all the time. Even camping she had the cutest outfits on make up and everything.
3. Her love for her family. Grandma loved spending any time she could with us. She always made sure that you knew how much she loved you.
4. How she made you feel important. Im not sure how she did it but in the letters every grand kid said they felt like they were the favorite. Grandma knew how to make you feel extra special around her even when other cousins were around.

5. Her advice. One thing I will never forget that Grandma told me was " It doesn't matter what your husband looks like all that matters is how he will treat you and your children." When I was younger I would just laugh but now I understand just how wise grandma was.

Not the best picture because its a picture of a picture... Im being lazy right now.
